The Violet-headed Hummingbird is a tiny tropical hummingbird with a brilliant violet head, bright green body, and white chest. It lives in Central America, especially from southern Mexico through Panama. A commonly known fact is its rapid wingbeats that let it hover while feeding on nectar. Fun fact: its wings can beat around 50 times per second.
