The Steely Vented Hummer is a small hummingbird with iridescent steel-blue upperparts and a pale gray, subtly streaked belly. Native to highland forests of Central America, it is best known for hovering effortlessly while feeding on nectar. Fun fact: its wings can beat over 70 times per second.
