The Silvereye is a small songbird with olive-green upperparts, pale gray underparts, and a distinctive white ring around its eyes. It is common in Australia and New Zealand. A well-known fact is its seasonal migration across the Tasman Sea. Fun fact: flocks are sometimes nicknamed “blizzards.”
