The Satin Bowerbird is a medium-sized bird found in eastern Australia. It has glossy blue-black plumage with striking violet eyes. These birds are known for their elaborate courtship displays, during which males build and decorate bowers with colorful objects to attract females. A fun fact about Satin Bowerbirds is that they have a preference for blue objects when decorating their bowers, often stealing items like bottle caps or pens to adorn their display areas.
