The cygnet of the Mute Swan is a fluffy young swan, usually soft gray or brown with a darker bill and legs. These birds are found across Europe and parts of Asia, and have also been introduced to North America. A well-known fact is that adult mute swans are famous for their graceful curved necks. Fun fact: cygnets often ride on their parents’ backs for warmth and protection.
