Microraptor, a small feathered dinosaur, roamed the forests of China during the early Cretaceous period. Its plumage was predominantly black, with iridescent feathers shimmering in shades of blue and green. A commonly known fact about Microraptor is that it had wings on both its forelimbs and hind limbs, enabling it to glide through the air. A fun fact about Microraptor is that it likely hunted for small prey from the treetops, using its wings for balance and maneuverability.
