Hand-signed, 5x7 Giclee print using high quality 10-color, pigment-based inks on Canson Platine Fibre Rag 310 gsm 100% cotton archival paper matted for 8x10 frame.
The Leucistic Bohemian Waxwing is a rare variant of the Bohemian Waxwing, a songbird found in the northern forests of North America and Eurasia. Unlike its usual grey and brown coloring, the Leucistic variant exhibits mostly white plumage with patches of pale grey. A commonly known fact about the Bohemian Waxwing is its love for berries, particularly those of the mountain ash tree. A fun fact about the Leucistic variant is that its unique coloring is caused by a genetic mutation resulting in reduced pigmentation.
