The Great Crested Grebe is an elegant waterbird with a slender neck, white face, chestnut ruff, and dark double crest on its head. It lives across lakes and wetlands in Europe, Asia, and parts of Africa. Known for its elaborate courtship dances, a fun fact is that pairs sometimes present each other with water plants during their display.
