The Collared Inca Hummingbird is a striking bird found in the Andean regions of South America, including Ecuador and Peru. It has vibrant iridescent green feathers with a white collar around its neck, hence its name. These hummingbirds are known for their agility in flight, hovering effortlessly while feeding on nectar from flowers. A fun fact about the Collared Inca Hummingbird is that it is one of the few hummingbird species known to migrate seasonally between different elevations in the Andes.
