Allen’s Hummingbird is a tiny, dazzling bird native to the coastal regions of California and southern Oregon. Males flash vibrant orange and green plumage, especially in sunlight. Known for their impressive agility in flight, they can hover like helicopters. A fun fact: they sometimes perform dramatic dive displays to impress females.
