Vermillion Flycatcher

The Vermilion Flycatcher is a striking bird found across the southwestern United States, Central America, and parts of South America. Males are vivid red with dark brown wings and tails, while females are more subdued with peach-toned underparts. Known for agile insect-catching in flight, a fun fact: they sometimes “dance” midair during courtship.
