Evening Grosbeak

The Evening Grosbeak is a striking songbird found across North America, especially in Canada and the northern United States. Males are vibrant yellow with black wings and a bold white patch, while females are more subdued in gray and olive tones. Known for their powerful, seed-crushing beaks, these birds are often seen at winter feeders. A fun fact: their strong beaks can easily crack open cherry pits.
