Rose-breasted Grosbeak

The Rose-breasted Grosbeak is a striking songbird found across eastern and central North America. Males are black and white with a vivid rose-red patch on the chest, while females are streaky brown with a white eyebrow. Known for their melodious, robin-like song, these birds can crack seeds with powerful beaks—a fun fact is that both sexes sing, often in duets.
