Western Meadowlark

The Western Meadowlark is a striking songbird known for its bright yellow belly, black V-shaped chest band, and mottled brown and white back. Found across western and central North America, it’s famous for its melodic, flute-like song. A fun fact: it’s the state bird of Kansas, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oregon, and Wyoming!
